Before you start Module 15.1, it’s very important for you to read—and to read carefully—the introduction to Module 15.
You assignment for Module 15.1 is simple and relatively open-ended. You need to write a blog post of at least 300 words that:
- Selects some aspect of the Module 15 introduction on which to reflect on this course and what you’ve learned in it. You might choose to reflect on any part of The Devil in the White City, for example, that you haven’t yet been asked to write about. Or maybe you’d rather reflect on Bloom’s Taxonomy and the kinds of thinking skills you’ve been asked to use in your college courses so far, and/or how well you feel Boise State’s courses are preparing you for the workforce based on the skills highlighted in the Career Center’s “Make College Count” initiative.
- After you have finished reflecting, answer this question: Would this section of HIST 100, with its particular mix of content, activities, and assignments, be better taught as a face-to-face course? Please explain your answer.
An important note: While the quality of and effort you put into this blog post will influence your grade, what you say in it absolutely will not. Your responses will influence the future design of this course and my other courses, just as your course evaluations will.
