I vaguely remember learning about The First Thanksgiving in school. One thing that has always stuck out to me in to voyage of the Mayflower that the pilgrims took. Also for some reason the Wampanoags always stood out to me cause I remember thinking what a funny word it was. Some key things that I do remember about this story are that the Wampanoags thought that there was a war breaking out because of a message or something happened that made them think that. They approached the Pilgrims and they soon found out that they were actually just hunting for their food they were not looking for the Wampanaogs or trying to shoot at them. I believe that is where the dinner started. Now that I am recalling this historic event I am actually very interested in learning it again because I do remember being interested in it when i was young. Although it was so long ago I can hardly remember what actually happened.
Thanksgiving
I don’t recall my first learning about Thanksgiving that well. I remember there being lots of fall colors oranges, browns, reds. We made turkey’s out of our hand prints that we had traced, then coloring them to look like a turkey. As a kid it was always all about coloring.
We learned about the trip on the Mayflower. I remember being taught about how the Native Americans had taught the pilgrims to grow food with dead fish as fertilizer. I always remember the feast that occurred out of school. The whole family would come together and give thanks for what had happened to them through the year.

This article describes the different reasons why remotes are not the best way to control a television. It explains that they are full of buttons that don’t even have a function for your TV. And that the amount of remotes you need to control your different devices is getting a bit ridiculous. It also shows how to use these remotes correctly.
